ACC Ottawa – COVID-19 Update

In her press conference Sunday March 15 Vera Etches, Ottawa’s Medical Officer of Health asked that people practice “social (physical) distancing”. Etches urged people in Ottawa to cancel events of all sizes in order to limit transmission and to limit unimportant trips outside their homes. 
ACC Ottawa events are cancelled until further notice. We will be monitoring COVID-19 Update Notices to see “what is happening” in Ottawa and its environs. We will update our members with any changes as they happen – given that the situation is out of our control and subject to change. We will reinstitute our Section schedule when we receive the “go ahead”.
We encourage our members to take care of themselves, their families and their friends and neighbours. Stay healthy. Stay safe. Stay strong
Remember that it’s ok (and beneficial to your health) to enjoy the outdoors – just do so in very small groups and keep your distance from others.
