Wed Apr 29 – TRIP LEADER WORKSHOP

For Experienced, New  & Potential Leaders; For Members Who Would Like to Know More About Leading Trips
The Ottawa Section wants to build its base of trip leaders and invites all members who now lead trips, members who are starting to lead trips and members who are considering leading or co-leading trips to attend our Trip Leader Workshop. During the workshop, we will be discussing what it takes to lead trips, how to go about organizing a trip, risk management and the guidelines that the club has developed to help leaders run fun, challenging and safe outings.
Mark Orzel, an outdoor educator and trip guide, will be helping us throughout the workshop.
We are bringing together experienced, new and potential trip leaders to share their thoughts on leading trips.
There is no obligation on those who attend to start leading trips unless they feel ready to do so.
