2016 ACC OTTAWA EXEC – TWO OPEN POSITIONS
Elections for two vacant positions on the ACC Ottawa Executive will take place at the 2015 AGM. These executive members will be elected for a one-year term. The term of office will run until November 2016.
The ACC Ottawa Executive is elected for a two-year term. The current term runs to November 2016. We have two vacancies for the second year – for Secretary and for Web Editor. Due to changes in personal circumstances, Diane van Bergen and Anne Bursey will not be able to continue in their roles as Secretary and Web Editor for 2016. We are looking for volunteers for these two positions. If there is more than one volunteer for one or both of these positions, there will be elections at the AGM.
If you would like more information or if you want to volunteer for any of these positions, please contact ACC Ottawa Past Chair, Steve Dods email@example.com
ACC OTTAWA ARCHIVE COMMITTEE
Open Position – Looking for a Club Archivist
The Dead Sea Scrolls Committee, formally known as the Archive Committee, is looking for someone with an interest in club history to take on the role of Club Archivist. Several boxes of documents, books and photographs chronicling the early days of the Section have come to light and need parsing, digitizing and long-term storage solutions. The process is well underway with a small team of volunteers but our chairperson has reluctantly had to step aside owing to other commitments.
Under the direction of the new Club Archivist, the Archives Committee would like to finish the task of data capture and set up an archive policy for the Section.
Anyone interested or with suggestions to offer, please contact Dianne Wadden firstname.lastname@example.org
